Raging Winter

Every breath I take leads me further
away from you and ever closer
to the inevitable emptiness
one finds when their heart dies

And every dream that comes
is of a raging winter, the violent
blizzard burying what once was ,
the love, the life, the promises

Every sunset my eyes see
is another day passed with my
only companion, the loneliness
of yesterday's goodbye

And every dream that comes
is of a raging winter, a bitter
chill falling on the bed where
you first gave yourself to me

And I take in the coming darkness,
seen through eyes, exhausted
by the endless flow of tears
and I whisper good night to the wind,
hoping somewhere you are listening ...

In You I Find The Reason

As the light of day fades
Into the night behind my eyes
I bask in the light of the dying moon
And lay, with my head resting
In the dry desert sands
And while I lay
Shivering in the stillness of the night
I look upon this incredible journey

The path was long
And sometimes dark
But along the way
I found a treasure
So very few ever find
More valuable than gold
More beautiful than diamonds
I found you

And in you I found the reason
Why my journey first began
Love-
The magic
That binds two hearts
A joining-
Two hearts, two souls, two spirits
Into one emotion, strong and pure
Love-
What I will always feel for you

The reason behind each breathe I take
Lies within you
In the beating of your heart
I've seen the magic inside you
The beauty of a world you try to hide
My eyes looked upon that place
And I long to be there again
So that each day
The journey can begin anew
And with you by my side
I can face that journey head on
Knowing no matter what darkness comes my way
You, my light, will always be there ...

A Love That Will Never Fade

My love for you is a love that will never fade
Because with each new day
And each new thought of you
My love for you grows stronger
And each time I look into your eyes
I fall in love with you all over again

In my every dream I hold you close
Feeling more alive with every breath
You're so much more than I ever hoped for
More than I ever dreamed
And more than I probably deserve

You've found an untouched place in my heart
A place I didn't know existed
But now my thoughts of you will live there forever
Warming me and making me smile

You are a gift
The most wonderful of dreams come true
And from this day on

Rose petals scattered on the garden floor
A passion bed for lovers
A death bed for lonliness

And without you
The stars lose their beauty
The moonlight fades to darkness
And the sunlight leaves me cold

And without you
There is no reason
To face a new day
There is no one to hold
While I drift into sleep

Scattered rose petals
Only leave me longing for
The closeness we could share
If we would allow our hearts
To lay as one
On the garden floor ...

Sleep Now My Angel

Hush now baby
Don't you cry

Right here by your side

Close your eyes
And slowly drift
Into the land of dreams
Let my soft whisper
Soothe your weary mind
And lay to rest your fears

To a mornings safe return

Sleep now my angel
Put to rest this day
Enjoy the wonder
Of the innocence
That lies behind
Your closed eyes

Waiting to hold you

How I long to bathe
In the essence of you
Your smile
And the light in your eyes
And the laughter
And your tears
Your scent
And your sweet taste

It is all of you
That makes me whole
The strength of your heart
And your faith in me

Your warm embrace
Your soothing whisper
Your lips upon mine
The essence of you

My every dream is of you
My every wish
Is to feel you near
My every thought
Is of my love for you

I Wish The Dream Would Come True

I wish the world I see
When I close my eyes at night was real
For in that world you and I
Live in love, we live the dream
I wish that dream would come true

I wish I was there
So you could feel the way
My heart races when I think of you
So you could see the Love in my eyes
When I look at you

I wish I could feel you
Your soft flesh when we make love
I wish I could taste you
And catch the sweet scent of you in the air
I wish the dream would come true

I wish I could be all that you need
Your friend, your lover, your soul mate
And I wish you could feel for just one moment
The sadness in my heart while we are apart
So that you might then know
Just how strong my love is for you

I wish right now I could feel you in my arms
While we share in the beauty of the sunset
And cherish a moment only we could share
As the world around us fades away
And all that is, is our love

I wish the dream would come true
That we could live the life we live
