And in the Castle bedroom
Lies open a golden box
With a beautiful dove
Ectched upon the top

In which the Queen
Kept hiden for many a years
And in that golden box lied
A red ruby ring 

Thee red ruby ring
That was given to her
On the day of his promise
"Evermore" he sealed her lips with a kiss

"No other could ever compare to thee"
She mumbled
As tears fell from
Her pale blue eyes

"Shelter me through all eternity"
She falls to her knees
Begging the Heavens for release
To set her broken soul free

He promised her "Evermore"
What more?
He sealed it with
A tender loving kiss

And years later
Today
He runs off
With the Castle maid

How sad she must feel
Deceived
Betrayed
Tainted

Her broken heart lies now
With the red ruby ring
And his broken promise
Of Evermore
